Railhead Reamers
Solid Body Fluted Reamers
Machined from tool steel and heat treated for strength and durability, these reamers are available with an API R eg box on the front and several options on the back. These options include a built-in 20K, 30K, 45K HDD swivel or draw bar. Now available with a pin back to allow for trailing rods or use as a centering wheel with the flow-through capabilities to attach a second reamer in tandem. The API box front will accept any API pin crossover to your thread. Made with shark teeth or conical carbide teeth.
Stacked Plate Reamers
These stacked plate backreamers feature a slow taper design and deep spiral fluting for smooth cutting and maximum mixing action. They are available with a built-in 30K or 45K swivel, drawbar, pin or box rear connection. The API box fronts will accept any API pin crossover to your drill thread.
For cobble, sandstones, shales, soft limestone, caliche and gravel.
Tapered Barrel Reamers
Tapered barrel reamers feature shark teeth carbide cutters in a spiral pattern, and a “packer” barrel rear for stability. Reamers have API REG box fronts and are available with built-in swivel, drawbar, pin or box rear connection. The API REG box fronts will accept any API pin crossover needed to attach to your drill.
For cobbles, shales, river rock and hardpan.
Winged Reamers
Fabricated from heat-treated alloy steel for strength and durability, these winged reamers are available with a built-in 20K, 30K or 45K swivel, drawbar, pin or box rear connection. The API REG box fronts will accept any API pin cross-over needed to attach to your drill.
For sand with cobbles, sandstone and hardpan.
Clay Reamers
Fabricated from heat-treated alloy steel for strength and durability, these clay reamers are available with a built-in 20K, 30K or 45K swivel or drawbar, pin or rear connection. The API REG box fronts will accept any API pin crossover needed to attach to your drill.
For aggressive cutting, mixing and pumping in sticky clay. Also, an excellent choice for shale and sandstone.
Fly Cutter Reamers
Fabricated from heat-treated alloy steel for strength and durability, the Tapered Wing Fly Cutter features three long tapered wings, offset cutters, multiple fluid ports, three packing and stabilizing ring segments, and is available with a drawbar, pin or box rear connection. The API REG box fronts will accept any API pin crossover needed to attach to your drill.
For consolidated loams, clays and semi-compacted soils.
