Our patented pusher mechanism moves on bronze bushings and utilizes a specialized sealer that conserves internal lubricant and prevents the introduction of dirt and water, keeping machines in working order without a lot of upkeep.

The machine frames are made with high-strength steel and are protected against cumulative wear by a chromed-steel guide bar, so they don’t wear down quickly.

The PD-4 and PD-6 also feature a non-slip, positive-locking jaw assembly that applies a steady pushing force to pushrods, making them powerful utilities.

Advanced Digital and Analog Steering Technology

The horizontal directional drilling equipment uses digital and analog guidance systems, which include the Falcon F1, the Falcon F2 and the Falcon F5, to match shallow grades and safely steer around obstacles, like ducting, foundations or pipes.

The PD-4 and PD-6 products can use digital detection technology that determines the location of the boring head to within inches by transmitting orientation, pitch, depth and location through radio and digital signals. The operator receives the information in the form of:
