PD-22
The Pow-R Mole model PD-22 pipe bursting machine is a fast and efficient pipe replacement system, offering you a cost-effective alternative to open trench. This machine features a (12") stroke. Its unique non-slip, cylinder-activated jaws are designed to prevent cable damage. The PD-22 develops 14,000 lbs of pulling force at a rate of six feet per minute. The jaw system pulls a 3/8" pre-stretched swedged cable. This system is capable of splitting plastic, lead, and copper pipes 3/4 to 2 inches in most compressible soils.
PD-33m
The PD-33M compact pipe bursting machine is designed to replace existing underground pipes from 2 to 6inches in diameter. Its non-slip cylinder-activated jaws prevent cable damage, while developing 60,000 pounds of pulling force. The PD-33M system offers a cost-effective alternative to open-cut excavation, which reduces your customer disruption and increases company profits. The process of pipe bursting replaces the existing pipe with a fused HDPE pipe, which eliminates all joints and allows you to burst through multiple 45 degree offsets. This system is modular and can be easily disassembled and reassembled for manhole and basement applications. With a new compact design and very small footprint of only 20" x 20", this unit can be used in the tightest of locations.
PD-7
The PD-7 was designed for use in difficult soil conditions where a pipe or cable is to be installed under a road or in an area that cannot be dug. The PD-7 can install pipes by either directional thrust boring or pipe bursting. This system is capable of bursting cast iron, concrete, asbestos cement, PVC, ductile iron, orangeburg, and clay pipe from 3 to 10 inches. These machines are excellent in areas where space is limited.
The PD-7 will operate from a pit only 77 inches long and has a thrust force of 112,000 lbs @ 3,000 psi. The maximum push rate of PD-7 is 5 feet/minute and it can install up to 10-inch ID pipe in most compressible soils.
